Australian Reality TV Network Sues For Fraud By Tom Arnold

Tom Arnold says an Australian television network defrauded him into blocking off his summer work schedule for a comedy tour that never happened.

The comedian says he agreed to appear on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and go on tour afterward in exchange for a guaranteed payment of $425,000 - instead he was the victim of a bait-and-switch scheme.

Australian Reality TV Network Sues For Fraud By Tom Arnold

Arnold is suing Network Ten and A List Entertainment for fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation and breach of oral contract in a complaint filed Thursday in L.A. County Superior Court.

"It was agreed orally and confirmed in writing that the guaranteed compensation to be paid for the two engagements - as a package - would be $425,000," writes Arnold's attorney, Marty Singer. "Plaintiffs agreed to the deal and blocked off Arnold's schedule in prime summer months when he typically receives his best engagements and highest compensation."

The series shoots in the jungle of South Africa, which involved "significant personal inconvenience and hardship to its celebrity participants," according to the complaint. So, Network Ten sweetened the deal with a comedy tour in Australia, and Arnold's agents locked down the summer 2017 dates.

Arnold says after he spent two weeks filming the reality show, the network gave him a bad edit that minimized his comedic talent.

"Network Ten ensured Arnold that its depiction of Arnold on the Program would not endanger the Australian comedy tour," writes Singer.

But, according to the complaint, the defendants backed out of the comedy tour and refused to pay the remaining $140,000. Arnold is seeking not only the money he's owed under the contract, but also damages arising from foregoing other work to commit to the tour.

Watch the first teaser trailer of Marvel's Iron Fist

The final Defender has arrived.
At New York Comic Con on Saturday night, Netflix released a new teaser trailer for its forthcoming series Marvel’s Iron Fist, starring Finn Jones (Game of Thrones) as the title hero.
“You are a living weapon,” says an off-screen narrator in the first look. The show focuses on Danny Rand, a.k.a Iron Fist, who trains with the people of K’un-Lun following a personal tragedy, and later returns to New York to fight crime with help from the magical fighting style he was taught. In addition to Jones, the series stars Jessica Henwick (as Colleen Wing), Jessica Stroup (as Joy Meachum), Tom Pelphrey (as Ward Meachum), David Wenham (as Harold Meachum), and Rosario Dawson (as Claire Temple).

“I love the character,” Jones said “What really drew me was the character and the story. I really enjoy how he’s a superhero with a real heart but has spiritual elements as well. I think it’s going to be an exciting character to play because there’s this contraction of on one hand he’s from a very wealthy family, he’s a billionaire, on the other hand he’s been in this world of K’un-Lun for a long time where he’s learned kung fu and buddhist philosophy. There’s a contradiction in those elements that’s going to be really fun to play.”
This week, Netflix revealed Iron Fist would debut its first season on March 17, 2017. The series is the fourth in Netflix’s Defenders quartet, following DaredevilJessica Jones, and Luke Cage. The stars of those series – Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Mike Colter, respectively – along with Jones will unite for a Marvel’s The Defenders as well.

Game of Thrones breaks Record To Have The Most Emmy Wins Ever

Game of Thrones torched an Emmys record on Sunday night. With 38 wins, the HBO fantasy seriesovertook Frasier as the winningest scripted show in the award show’s history.

Game of Thrones won awards for Best Writing, Best Directing and Best Drama on Sunday night, first tying Frasier with 37 wins, then taking the title with a total of 38. The series won 12 Emmys in total this year.

George R.R. Martin, who wrote the series A Song of Ice and Fire upon which the television show is based, joined show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss on stage to accept the award. “We have the best cast that’s I think ever been assembled,” Benioff said onstage.

While the record-breaking win is good news for the cast and crew, fans of the show will still have to wait a little longer to find out what happens next in King’s Landing. HBO pushed the premiere of the seventh season of the series from the spring of 2017 to summer of that year.

It beat Frasier with 38 total wins

Ali Just Shoot a Major Bombshell on the "Pretty Little Liars" Season Finale

Pretty Little Liars show creator I. Marlene King promised today that the show's Season 7A finale would be "one of our craziest finales ever" — and one of the deadliest. (The hashtag is literally #PLLDeathTrap, so you know she's not messing around.) But the one bombshell no one saw coming? A pregnancy announcement.
"I'm pregnant," Ali revealed to Emily in an emotional scene, causing you to literally text OMGGGGGG to all the friends you normally watch PLL with.
"What?" said Emily, summing up exactly how you feel.
"There's two lines on the stick. I was waiting for one to disappear but it didn't. At first I thought I was just stressed. I've been late before but it was a false alarm," said Ali, who also told Emily that her ex-boyfriend Archer is the father. "Ohmigod I can't believe this is happening. I thought we were careful. It's not how I pictured starting a family."
Then Ali made out with Emily, because this is Pretty Little Liars and when they promise crazy, they do the damn thing.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s Reality TV Is Powered By Their Constant Argument (VIDEO)

The honeymoon stage is clearly over for Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna.
The couple’s reality show, Rob & Chyna, is going to be driven by their constant arguments, as they’re chronicling their preparations for the birth of their baby.
In a sneak peek preview of their show, the 28-year-old is seen yelling at her fiancé, "Are you still texting b—hes? Yes or no?"
The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's sister, Khloé Kardashian also featured in the trailer as she pondered her brother's transformation.
"That Rob wants to be so public blows my mind," she said.
Despite having so much happy news to celebrate, they reportedly spend a lot of their time fighting and yelling at one another.
The pair got engaged in April after just a few months of dating, and sources tell TMZ they fight over everything from the reality star’s weight to what gets posted on social media.
The show is also being filmed five days a week, 13 hours a day, which has caused some issues.
While the 29-year-old has had second thoughts about doing the show, his indecisiveness has made for really good television.

"He is just going through one of his mood swings, which is common for him. But he is still filming,” the source says.
"He goes through his dark periods. He gets depressed and doesn't want to really do anything, doesn't leave the house. It got better for a bit when he first started dating Chyna, but he's in a rut now. He'll snap out of it."
The show was said to be "in crisis" when the youngest Kardashian began skipping filming because he was worried the show would compromise the couple’s relationship.
Unfortunately, it sounds like it already did.
Rob & Chyna premieres on E! on September 11.

Is Rob Kardashian Having Relationship Issues With Blac Chyna Already?

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s reality show could be in problem as Rob is struggling to film the show.
The couple -- who got engaged in April and are awaiting their first baby - have signed a deal with E! for six 60-minute-episodes of their spin-off show, but the youngest Kardashian has allegedly been skipping filming.
A source told TMZ they are worried Rob & Chyna is “compromising their relationship.”
The 29-year-old is reported to be skipping filming for a number of new events, including his grandmother Mary Jo’s birthday party in San Diego. His fiancée was forced to attend alone.
It was recently claimed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star felt “neglected” by his baby mama, leading to the huge fight in which he deleted all traces of her from his social media.

Although they have now made up, insiders claim the former Dancing With the Stars competitor was struggling to cope with Chyna — who has a three-year-old son, King Cairo, with ex-boyfriend Tyga — having so many other commitments in her life.
"Everything with Chyna is moving so fast. ... She's a single parent and filming the show and all of her other work commitments, so Rob has been feeling neglected by her.
“She has also been doing things on her own a lot with her girlfriends,” said a source.
Let’s hope they can figure it out before the wedding!
Rob & Chyna premieres later this year on E!.
