Terrifying Video Shows Man Allegedly Murdering His Mistress’s 19-Month-Old Son

Shocking new evidence was introduced this week at the bond hearing for Bert Franklin, an Oklahoma man accused of killing his mistress’s 19-month-old son in July.

Lincoln Lewis was rushed to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City after his mother, Roxanne Randall, found him unresponsive.

The boy was diagnosed with skull fractures that doctors said were consistent with abuse. Due to the severity of the injuries, the child was airlifted to Tulsa Hospital, where he later passed away.

Now new surveillance video from Randall’s home shows what prosecutors are calling the cause of Lincoln’s death.

The images show Franklin carrying the child, who seems to be alert, throughout the dining area. He then disappears out of view as he makes his way into the living room.

While it’s hard to tell what happens next due to the angle of the camera, an Oklahoma police detective says she believes it shows Franklin slamming the child into the ground, then making a kicking motion to where Lincoln would be lying on the floor.

Franklin then reappears onscreen, holding the limp baby in one arm while reaching for a slice of pizza with the other.

Lincoln’s mother, who had been dating Franklin for roughly a year, says she heard a loud thud and came downstairs. Franklin told her he was throwing a ball for the dog and that the child was sleeping on the couch.

Prosecutors have suggested jealousy as the primary motive. According to Randall, she had been spending time with Lincoln’s biological father, which Franklin was not happy about.

She told police he had threatened to kill the boy’s dad, “skin him in Bricktown,” and cut off his penis.
The judge overseeing the hearing saw the violent texts that were exchanged between him and Lincoln’s father. He also heard evidence that Franklin, who’s married and has four kids of his own, has been accused of abuse by one of his children in the past.
The judge denied Franklin’s request for bail, calling him “a danger to the community.”
