Blake Lively is getting a head start on her New Year's resolutions. The Café Society actress revealed that she's already trying to lose weight following the birth of her second child in September.
"New Years resolution started early — I WILL fit into my jeans again gall darnet," she captioned an Instagram pic of her healthy [food options] meals from a food delivery service on Monday, December 5. "Thanks @getepicured for making it tasty. This is not an ad. This is me getting it up for healthy food."
The Gossip Girl alum, 29, signed up for the delivery service Epicured to help her slim down. So far, she has stocked up on chicken, rice and veggies and salad.
Some other items on the menu include pad thai, tacos, sesame crusted wild salmon, truffled mac & cheese, ginger pork, lemon rosemary chicken and a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich.
Lively, like other customers, can select a five-day plan or seven-day plan when they choose meal options from the company, which can cost anywhere between $75 to $182 a week. Epicured enlists the help of expert dietitians and offers gluten-free meals and serves Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau County.
Epicured reposted Lively's pic. "Thanks Blake!" the Instagram caption read. "We hope you enjoy the meals and that Epicured helps make your New Year's resolution a snap."
In September, Lively welcomed her second baby girl with husband Ryan Reynolds. The couple, who are already parents of daughter James, 22 months, have yet to reveal the baby's name.
Prior to baby No. 2, Lively worked out with trainer Don Saladino to get in shape for her shark thriller The Shallows. "I was working out 13 hours a day because shooting was working out," she told Entertainment Tonight in June. "It was neat to be able to do that, and it was neat to have that challenge after having [James], because you think your body is so different — you think no matter what, it's never [going to be] totally be the same."
On Friday, Lively posted a pic of herself hiding from Saladino at the gym. "#FitnessFriday current mood. @donsaladino gives me reason to hide!" she wrote.
