MIKE 'THE SITUATION' SORRENTINO MUST REMAIN 100% SOBER AT 'JERSEY SHORE' REUNION

On Friday, Mike pleaded guilty to tax evasion in court, but the judge gave him the green light to travel to Florida to shoot a "Jersey Shore" reunion. But, as part of the agreement, he is not allowed to drink alcohol at all. Doing so would violate terms of his bail and potentially land him in jail.

Court documents published by The Blast said "all previously imposed conditions of bail remain in effect." In the original order, it said he must "abstain from the use of alcohol."

For Mike, he seemed pleased that the judge is allowing him to travel to Florida to join his former housemates. After the guilty plea, Mike shared an image of him and his girlfriend. "Let the Fist Pumping Begin #jsfamilyvacation 🇮🇹 Here I come !! 🙏," he captioned the snap.

In a statement, The Situation's lawyer told The Blast, "Today, Michael Sorrentino has come to terms with mistakes he made at a very different and tumultuous time in his life. He deeply regrets his failure to pay his taxes, and has spent the past several years turning his life into something positive."

It continued, "He has been sober for two years, counseled other young people facing life's stresses, and has built a stable, loving relationship with his girlfriend Lauren Pesce, who stands by his side. The plea terms call for a balance between punishing the wrong committed and conditions that facilitate Mike living a productive, law-abiding life moving forward. Following through on this plea agreement, Michael intends to pay restitution before sentencing."

The statement later said Mike played a "minor role" in the crime.

"He will continue to entertain millions on 'Jersey Shore' and thanks everyone who has expressed support," the statement finished.

TMZ reported that prosecutors are also pushing the judge to go easy on the reality TV star. Mike will be sentenced in April.
