Lady Gaga Has Confirmed Her Engagement to Christian Carino

Cue the wedding bells because Mother Monster is getting married!

Lady Gaga is engaged to her beau, Hollywood agent Christian Carino, the Star Is Born actress confirmed herself. Nearly a year since engagement rumors first sparked last November, the triple threat thanked her "fiancé Christian" during her emotional and empowering speech at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Los Angeles on Monday.

While it's unclear exactly when the big question was popped, Gaga has been wearing a sparkler on her left-hand ring finger for months now, fueling the speculation that she was indeed an engaged Lady.

Despite her immense stardom and high-profile life, the couple have managed to keep their romance relatively low-key save for the occasional joint public appearance.

As loyal fans know, the 31-year-old and her ex Taylor Kinney broke off their engagement in July 2016, more than a year after the Chicago Fire star's proposal on Valentine's Day in 2015.

More than six months after the split, Gaga was spotted canoodling with Carino on the field at the 2017 Super Bowl in early February and the low-key couple has been going strong ever since. Gaga's man helped her ring in her 31st birthday, took their romance to the Hamptons that summer, and a few months after, the star dropped the "L" word on her fans.

"When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was OK," the songstress said during a rainy concert in September 2017, as reported by Page Six. "The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall."

Clearly, Mother Monster has fallen in love—and she's going to tie the knot. Congratulations, you two!

Lady Gaga Announces Cancellation of The Remaining European Dates of ‘Joanne’ World Tour Due to ‘Severe Pain’

Lady Gaga has announced she is canceling the remaining European dates of her Joanne world tour due to severe pain, after that leg of the tour was postponed in September 2017.
A statement shared on the singer’s Instagram account on Saturday, February 3, began, “Unfortunately, Lady Gaga is suffering from severe pain that has materially impacted her ability to perform live. As a result, Live Nation and Lady Gaga are announcing the cancellation of the final 10 dates of the European leg of her Joanne World Tour.”

“Last night, with strong support from her medical team, Lady Gaga made the tough decision to immediately come off the road,” the statement continued. “She is extremely sorry and deeply saddened that she cannot perform for her European fans, who have waited so patiently.”
“She is in the care of expert medical professionals who are working closely with her so she can continue to perform for her fans for years to come,” the statement added, before concluding that ticket holders can obtain refunds beginning Tuesday, February 6.
The “Bad Romance” singer, 31, who suffers from fibromyalgia, announced she was postponing the European leg of the Joanne tour in September 2017. At the time she shared an emotional Instagram post that read, “I have always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles … As I get stronger and when I feel ready, I will tell my story in more depth, and plan to take this on strongly so I can not only raise awareness, but expand research for others who suffer as I do, so I can help make a difference… I’m a fighter. I use the word suffer not only because trauma and chronic pain have changed my life, but because they are keeping me from living a normal life.”
She also had to cancel a performance at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil in September after being hospitalized due to severe pain.
As previously reported, Gaga’s Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two gave fans a glimpse into the singer’s battle with chronic pain. In it, she revealed that she suffers muscle spasms from the hip injury that forced her to cancel her 2013 tour, the Born This Way Ball.
The A Star is Born actress also shared a video on Instagram on Saturday of herself dancing and captioned it, “I love you, monsters” with a heart emoji.

LADY GAGA DARES MADONNA TO TELL HER SHE WAS 'A PIECE OF SH*T' TO HER FACE

Remember when Madonna threw shade at Lady Gaga in an interview with ABC News, remarking that her music felt "reductive," before taking a long, knowing sip from her coffee cup?

(It's seven minutes and eight seconds in for those who need reminding).

Well, it sounds like Gaga is yet to let the not-so-subtle dig go and has finally addressed the pair's feud in her upcoming Netflix documentary.

In her film titled Gaga: Five Foot Two, she admits she'd rather Madonna had told her she was "a pice of s**t to he face," than slating her on television.

Oh, burn.

Speaking to her friends in a scene from her film, the star explains: "The thing with me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always and I still admire her no matter what she might think of me. No, I do.

"The only thing that really bothers me about her is that I'm Italian and from New York so, like, if I got a problem with somebody, I'm gonna tell you to your face.

"But no matter how much respect I have for her as a performer, I could never wrap my head around the fact that she wouldn't look me in the eye and tell me that I was reductive or whatever...

"No no no, like I saw it on f*cking TV."

If I got a problem with somebody, I'm gonna tell you to your face

The 31-year-old singer added that she wished Madonna would just push her "up against the wall and kiss me and tell me I'm a piece of sh*t" - and to be honest, we reckon Madge might be up for that.

She continues: "Telling me that you think I'm a piece of sh*t through the media - it's like a guy passing me a note through his friend: 'My buddy thinks you're hot, here's his...' F*ck you! Where's your buddy f*cking throwing up against the wall and kissing me?

"I just want Madonna to f*cking push me up against the wall and kiss me and tell me I'm a piece of sh*t."

The "Bad Romance" singer first met Madonna in 2009, and the pair seemed to hit it off, with the 31-year-old telling Extra: "I love Madonna, she's even more wonderful in person than I had imagined. She's such a beautiful woman."

They both took part in a spoof cat fight on Saturday Night Live later that year, but things turned sour when Gaga released 2011's Born This Way and was accused by some critics of copying Madonna's Express Yourself.

And when Madonna was asked what she thought of Gaga during this time, the "reductive" comment was born.

Meanwhile, Gaga's documentary also features her battle against chronic condition fibromyalgia which causes severe muscle pain.

We can't wait to tune in.

Gaga: Five Foot Two, directed by Chris Moukarbel, is available to watch on Netflix now.

See Exactly How Lady Gaga Looks When Her Tattoos Are Covered

While not everything, ahem, has been so awesome about 2016, it's been a big year for beauty; particularly where shattering tattoo taboo is concerned. Pinterest and Instagram are now filled with tiny tattoo ideas (as well our site; hi, wrist tattoos, ear tattoos, and watercolor tattoos, looking at you!). Celebrities have been more vocal about sharing theirs—along with their reasons for getting them or getting rid of them.

But still, even if you love your tattoos, it doesn't mean you always want them showing. And last night, Lady Gaga proved that during a meeting with the royal family in London. For the event, she made the choice to show up without her iconic tattoos covering her arms. Before you freak out—they're obviously not gone gone. They're just concealed under some heavy-duty makeup.

This certainly isn't a new task for celebrity makeup artists, (remember when Ruby Rose concealed hers for a photoshoot and Rita Ora covered hers up for the VMAs?) although it's definitely a time consuming one. (We've got a run-down of how to most effectively cover them here, you know, just in case you have an upcoming meeting with the Queen.) We can understand why Gaga opted for a much more conservative ensemble than she rocked at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last week—but we'll admit, it took us a second to recognize her without her signature ink. Take a look.

We'd go as far as to say her tattoos are iconic, but what she lacked in ink she certainly made up for in highlight. I mean, that highlighter.

We've reached out to Lady Gaga's makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, to walk us through what exactly went into the process. We'll update this post when we hear back.

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE VIDEO

We've got your Christmas present right here! Mariah Carey, Adele, Lady Gaga and more joined James Corden to sing "All I Want for Christmas for You" on The Late Late Show on Thursday, December 15, and it was pretty much perfect.

In case you were wondering how the talk show host was going to top having Madonna join him in the car earlier this month, just watch the video above to see the stars of Carpool Karaokes past belt out Carey's beloved holiday anthem.

The clip kicks off with Carey sitting in a car full of festively wrapped gifts with Corden as he thanks her for helping him with his holiday shopping. "What would you want for Christmas?" he asks the Grammy winner.

"I don't know. I don't want to ask for something too expensive or too nice. I want you to sing my song," she says.

After she sings the opening bars of the 1994 hit, the scene cuts to Adele in the car with Corden, followed by a galaxy of stars including Gaga, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chris Martin and Sir Elton John.

And these stars have almost as much fun singing the classic as you'll have watching it.

Keep an eye out for Lovato's cute moves, John's sweet kiss on Corden's head, and Adele and Gaga's attempts to out-do Carey as they hit the killer high note at the end of the song.

Lady Gaga in Tears As She Details Reasons For Breaking Up With Taylor Kinney

Despite the millions of record sales, numerous awards and sold out shows, Lady Gaga has admitted to her struggles with the darker side of fame. The singer revealed that she finds not being able to do normal things in everyday life very tough, and that she generally misses being able to meet people.

"I miss people," Gaga said during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning in America. "I miss, you know, going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying, 'Hi,' and having a conversation about life. I love people."

The star also added that she is "very acutely aware" she is not "free anymore" when she leaves her home and wanders into public spaces:

"As soon as I go out into the world, I belong, in a way, to everyone else," she said, "It's legal to follow me. It's legal to stalk me at the beach. And I can't call the police or ask them to leave.

"And I took a long hard look at that property line and I said, 'Well, if I can't be free out there, I can be free in here,'" she said in the interview, pointing to her chest.

During the same interview, Lady Gaga hinted at the real reason why her relationship with ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney broke down:

"I think women love very hard. We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with. You know, we're not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you."

Watch the full interview below and tune in at 3:30 to hear Gaga hint at her breakup with Kinney:

Lady Gaga gave the interview in support of her latest album Joanne, which topped the US Billboard 200 chart last month and peaked at No.3 in the UK.

Madonna and Lady Gaga's Sexual Assault Allegations is Been Questioned By Piers Morgan

Lady Gaga didn’t take it lightly when Piers Morgan insinuated that she and Madonna lied about being sexual assault survivors.

After Gaga, 30, complimented Madonna, 58, on her Billboard Women in Music speech describing her harrowing experience of being raped, Morgan tweeted Monday, “I remain sceptical [sic] about Madonna & Lady Gaga’s claims.”

He added, “Lady Gaga & Madonna have both made ALLEGATIONS of rape many years after the event. No police complaint, no charges, no court case.” In another tweet he wrote, “I fear [sexual assault has] become the latest celebrity accessory.” And then, because he couldn’t stop himself, Morgan, 51, tweeted, “I wouldn’t automatically believe anything either Madonna or Lady Gaga claimed about their lives.”

The comments came to Gaga’s attention on Tuesday.

Gaga replied, “I’ve work [sic] w/ our VP Joe Biden on helping educate people about why women don’t report, would love to share it w/ you some time.” She added, “would also love to talk with you about PTSD, that it’s not just a ‘military’ disorder. There is a mental health youth epidemic. if anyone in your family suffers from it, I pray they have more good days than bad. It has affected me & my whole family.”

Morgan seemed unmoved, writing, “I know numerous soldiers with PTSD, it’s a very serious thing. I also know people who claim to have it but clearly don’t. Let’s talk…”

Mother Monster wasn’t impressed. “Let’s do that & yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle u,” she tweeted. “Suprised [sic] you would question that. Was that the 1st question of our interview?”

Morgan didn’t respond directly, instead tweeting publicly, “I rather admire @ladygaga for agreeing to an interview after my criticisms. Should be a fascinating debate. I’ll press my meat suit.”

The “meat suit” comment really got the beef going, with Gaga responding, “if you continue to shame me in the process of kindly agreeing to interview w/ u I’ll happily do the interview with someone else.”

Lady Gaga Discusses What It Feels Like To Live With PTSD

In light of the release of Joanne, the album Lady Gaga called her most personal, autobiographical work yet, the singer has been extremely open with fans about her life as of late—and she's not done expressing herself yet. Gaga most recently shared that she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder in a video segment shown on The Today Show on Monday.

Today partnered with Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation, an organization committed to creating a kinder world and supporting youth, as part of the morning show's Share Kindness campaign to inspire people to give back. In this morning's segment, Gaga visited the Ali Forney Center, a homeless shelter for LGBTQ youth in New York City's Harlem neighborhood, with plenty of holiday gifts, wisdom, and love to spread around.

"I also believe that kindness is the cure to violence and hatred around the world," Gaga said of the initiative.

In the emotional video, Gaga is seen hugging the teens living at the center and speaking with them about their experiences. She says that the trauma she's experienced in her own life has helped her relate to others who have experienced trauma—Gaga has previously shared that she was raped when she was 19 years old.

At one point in her visit, Gaga leads a meditation session with the group, and she explains, "I don’t have the same kind of issues that you have, but I have a mental illness and I struggle with that every day so I need my mantra to help keep me relaxed."

She continued in an interview, "I told the kids today that I suffer from a mental illness. I suffer from PTSD. I’ve never told anyone that before, so here we are. But, the kindness that’s been shown to me by doctors as well as my family, and my friends—it’s really saved my life."

Before treating the group to a performance of her hit "Million Reasons," Gaga reminded them—and us all—that they are brave and courageous.

"One way to help people that have trauma is to inject them with as many positive thoughts as possible," she said. "What's really important to remind kids that are suffering from traumatic experience or abandonment is to remind them that they're not alone and that they're love."

Lady Gaga Spotted at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Wearing a $1 Million Hat

Lady Gaga is certainly one of the world's biggest fashion risk takers—from meat dresses to 18-inch heels to wearing a bird's nest on her head. But Wednesday, at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the singer took fashion to a new fiscal extreme when she wore a hat valued at $1 million during her performance.

During the recent promotion and Bud Light Dive Bar Tour for her latest album Joanne, Gaga's been sporting a custom pink wide-brim hat by Gladys Tamez Millinery to every event, including on the album's cover. For Gaga's Victoria's Secret performance, however, the milliner upped the ante, creating a special black version of the hat embellished with 45,700 Swarovski crystals dubbed the "Million Dollar" hat. The name both alludes to its monetary worth (damn, crystals are expensive!) and nods to Gaga's latest single off of Joanne, "Million Reasons."

Leave it to Lady Gaga to never make a statement subtly, and to push the limits of fashion at any chance she gets. While this extravagant hat doesn't quite align with the down-to-Earth Gaga we've seen lately, we're kind of loving the glimmer of The Fame Monster Gaga who we first fell in love with. The necessary next step: a hat made out of meat, duh!

WATCH: Lady Gaga Gives Reason Calling Off Engagement With Taylor Kinney

Never one to shy away from a deep conversation, Lady Gaga recently opened up about love and relationships.
Speaking with CBS Sunday Morning on Sunday (Nov. 27, 2016), the songstress didn’t specifically name Taylor Kinney, who she split with this past summer, but instead gave her insights on what being in love means to her.

“I think women love very hard,” Gaga explained. “We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don’t know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with.”

She continued, “You know, we’re not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you.”
Gaga also became emotional when she talked about the price of fame. Watch the whole interview above!
Since their breakup, Gaga has maintained that she and the Chicago Fire star are still on very good terms, and that her latest album, Joanne, is inspired by her “personal life.” She told E! News when her single “Perfect Illusion” was released, “I have said it before—I love Taylor so much and he’s my best friend.

LADY GAGA IS GIVING KANYE WEST PRAISES AMIDS HOSPITALIZATION

She’s in his corner! Lady Gaga congratulates Kanye West for his “bravery and courage” in a series of tweets on Wednesday, November 23, just days after the “Fade” rapper was hospitalized for exhaustion.

But first, the 30-year-old Joanne singer admonished any fans who may have poked fun at West’s condition.

“It’s not funny to joke about anyone’s possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many,” she wrote. “Let’s be kind & loving.”

“While I don’t agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and ❤️ for @kanyewest and each other. One love. One Race,” she continued. “@kanyewest i support & love u brother, I see in you bravery & courage to stop this tour & take care of YOU. You are a GREAT artist.”

As previously reported, West, 39, was checked into the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Monday, November 21, after authorities were called to his trainer Harley Pasternak’s home. According to TMZ, the rapper was acting “erratically” and was “handcuffed to a gurney during the transport to the hospital.”

A source told IPRESSTVthat West’s health scare was caused by “exhaustion and sleep deprivation,” the same reasons that caused him to call off the remaining 21 days of his Saint Pablo tour earlier Monday.

Gaga and West have a long history together; in 2009, the superstars were poised to hit the road together on a much-anticipated tour, Fame Kills. Less than a week before ticket sales began, however, the tour was canceled. At the time, Gaga told MTV News that the decision was mutual, though the timing of it caused fans to speculate that West’s infamous anti–Taylor Swift outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards may have had something to do with the last-minute change.

Gaga reconfigured her plans and embarked on a solo tour to promote the release of The Fame Monster — the Monster Ball tour, which ran from November 27, 2009, through May 6, 2011.

“In respects to the creative work that [Kanye and I] did together, I won’t be doing any of the things that we designed for the tour,” she told MTV News at the time. “It will be entirely new, and it will be just as amazing and memorable and epic.”

Nearly seven years later, West told fans his side of the story during a concert in the Philippines. “That night when I went on stage was the beginning of the end of my life,” he said, referring to his infamous Swift interruption moment. “Lady Gaga canceled the tour the next day. You know what night I’m talking about — when I just said what everyone else was thinking.”

Lady Gaga Protesting In Front of Trump's Tower After Trump Was Declared Winner For The 2016 US Presidential Election

After the U.S. presidential election was called for Donald Trump early this morning, Lady Gaga—a very vocal Hillary Clinton supporter—took a car from the Clinton election party at Jarvis Center to Trump Tower in New York City. She staged a protest with one sign: "Love trumps hate."

Gaga was photographed crying in her car before she emerged.

But despite the tears, Gaga has called for resilience and action. "I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate," she wrote on Twitter, repeating her call for us to stand up for kindness, equality, and love.
