If You See This In a Public Bathroom or Hotel, LEAVE Immediately and Call 911

We all use public bathrooms or stay in hotel rooms, and not to scare you, but do you really know who is watching you while you're going about your business?
Technology moves at the speed of light with new products and gadgets meant to make our lives easier, but there is also a dark side — one you might not even realize you're seeing until it's too late. There are people looking to prey on others by engaging in criminal activity, and it can be as easy as installing a hook.
While these may look like ordinary hooks, they're actually meant for a far darker purpose.

Notice the double hooks, which are not usually the standard in coat hooks.
Anything look a little off to you?
They can be easily attached to any wall in the home or places like a public bathroom, and you probably wouldn't even give them a second thought.

But be warned — if you see this in a public bathroom or a hotel room, please leave immediately and call the authorities.
So what’s the big deal about an innocent-looking hook?
Because hidden inside this wall hook is a tiny camera that records people in the bathroom, hotel rooms, and change rooms.

Women in particular have been recorded while in the shower or changing without their knowing.
They’re privacy is completely violated, and they aren’t even aware of it.
Pretty horrifying, right?

Doesn’t it make you think back to every hotel room you’ve ever stayed in and wonder if you were secretly being watched?
Shockingly, these sneaky little cameras are easy to find and even easier to install.
The camera comes with a charger and transfer cable, and the hook is like any other found at a hardware store.

The camera records video and audio through the small hole at the top.
Often times, the footage from the camera end up on the Internet for the world to see without the knowledge of the person featured in it.
That hole is a giveaway that something is NOT right with the hook and that criminal activity could be going on.

But it gets worse.
Want to know what makes it even creepier?
These wireless cameras can be recorded remotely, and the wireless remote control works through walls.

So someone could be watching the footage as close as the next room.
That’s enough to make you never want to check into a hotel again.
One thing you might notice is that it's set somewhere in a room that is out of place.

For example, if you see a hook in a place that doesn’t make sense for a hook to be, trust your instincts.
Sometimes you can see the light when the camera is recording.
That’s your sign to get out of dodge and call the police immediately.
What makes this so scary is that these spy camera hooks are accessible, inexpensive, and easy to purchase by criminals.

While they were originally created to increase security around your home, in the hands of the wrong people, they can make it easy to prey on unsuspecting victims.
Thankfully, knowledge is power.

If you know that coat hangers can contain cameras and are extra vigilant when traveling or using a public facility to undress, you’ll be able to protect yourself from unwanted snooping.
Check out the video below for more info on this unsettling trend.

Sadly, it seems to be getting more and more common by the day, but if we spread awareness that this is going on, we can help to shut it down.
Because no one should be able to take your privacy away from you.

About 50 Bullets Was Fired By Just 8 Police To Put End To London attackers - Police Chief

Eight police officers fired an unprecedented number of bullets to stop three attackers in London who appeared to be suicide bombers wearing explosive vests, Britain's counter-terrorism police chief said on Sunday.

The three attackers drove a hired van into pedestrians on London Bridge on Saturday night then ran into the bustling Borough Market area where they stabbed numerous people. Seven died and 48 were taken to hospital.

The attackers were wearing what were later found to be fake explosive vests.

"Eight police firearms officers discharged their weapons ... Our initial assessment is in the region of 50 rounds, in the region of 50 bullets were fired by those eight officers. The three attackers were shot dead," Mark Rowley said.

Propellerads

Most police officers in Britain are not armed and it is unusual for officers to fire their guns.

"The situation these officers were confronted with was critical: a matter of life and death," Rowley said.

"Three armed men wearing what appeared to be suicide belts. They had already attacked and killed members of the public and had to be stopped immediately.

"Indeed I am not surprised that when faced with what they must have feared were three suicide bombers, the firearms officers fired an unprecedented number of rounds to be completely confident that they had neutralized the threat that those men posed."

A member of the public received non-critical gunshot wounds during the incident.

Rowley said police were making significant progress in identifying the three attackers, but gave no details. He said police were increasingly confident the attack had been carried out by three individuals, but needed to establish whether others were involved in the planning.

He also said security arrangements for forthcoming events were being reviewed and the public could expect to see additional police, both armed and unarmed, across the capital.

"You will also see increased physical measures in order to keep the public safe on London's bridges," Rowley said.

Saturday's attack was the second to involve a vehicle driving into pedestrians on a bridge in London in just three months.

In March, five people died after an attacker drove a car at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and stabbed a policeman in the grounds of parliament. The attacker was shot dead by police.

Chelsea Manning is Now Free After Serving 7 Years Of A 35-Year Sentence

Pvt. Chelsea Manning has left a military prison in Kansas and is returning to civilian life Wednesday, seven years after she was taken into custody for what is seen as the largest leak of classified data in U.S. history.
"After another anxious four months of waiting, the day has finally arrived," Manning said in a statement released by the American Civil Liberties Union.

"I am looking forward to so much! Whatever is ahead of me is far more important than the past. I'm figuring things out right now — which is exciting, awkward, fun, and all new for me."
Manning tweeted a photo of her sneaker-clad feet, taking her "first steps of freedom" Wednesday morning.
The 35-year prison sentence Manning received as punishment for that crime was described as unprecedented when it was handed down. Before he left office, President Obama shortened the sentence to seven years.
In court, Manning pleaded guilty to leaking secret information — but she was acquitted of the most serious charge, aiding the enemy, in July of 2013.
On the morning of Manning's release, a fundraising campaign for her post-release expenses met its goal of raising $150,000. The fund was set up by her lawyer, Chase Strangio of the ACLU. Separately, musician Michael Stipe has led the release of a benefit album whose proceeds will go to the former soldier.
After her release, Strangio said, "Through extended periods of solitary confinement and up against the government's insistence on denying her medical care and existence as a woman, Chelsea has emerged with grace, resilience, and an inspiring amount of love for others."
Military personnel at the prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., where Manning was held had not released many details about her release that was scheduled for today. Manning's support team also provided little information, citing her need for privacy and time to adjust. They've said she plans to live in Maryland, where she has family.
Manning's court-martial conviction is under appeal; her current status is classified as a special type of active duty, the AP reports, meaning that "she will be unpaid but will be legally entitled to military medical care," the wire service says, citing an Army spokeswoman.
Among the records Manning has admitted to passing on to WikiLeaks was a video showing a 2007 U.S. Apache helicopter attack in Baghdad that killed 11 men and 750,000 classified documents that contained military and diplomatic dispatches.
Rights groups have sharply criticized the way the government handled Manning's case; they also faulted the official response to what Amnesty International USA calls "possible war crimes committed by the military" that are depicted in the records she released.
"Chelsea's treatment is especially galling given that nobody has been held accountable for the alleged crimes that she brought to light," says Margaret Huang, executive director of Amnesty International USA. "While we celebrate her freedom, we will continue to call for an independent investigation into the potential human rights violations she exposed, and for protections to be put in place to ensure whistleblowers like Chelsea are never again subjected to such appalling treatment."
Arrested in 2010, Manning had been serving in Iraq and was known as Bradley Manning. After her conviction, she announced she was a transgender woman and changed her name to Chelsea. Manning is walking out of prison early because then-President Obama commuted her sentence in January.
Steven Nelson, of U.S. News and World Report, talked to NPR's All Things Considered on Sunday:
"Part of the reason that the White House justified granting her clemency was because it was so much longer than other recent leak sentences. In a lot of the cases, people plead guilty and get maybe a year in prison. But 35 years really shocked people. And the seven years that had already been served was seen as enough by the Obama White House."
Nelson also told host Mary Louise Kelly that there's a difference between Manning's case and that of Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor, who leaked information.
"Manning as a 22-year-old wanted to spark a broad worldwide discussion of various injustices she perceived in scandals, whereas Snowden who had access to more highly classified documents had a very specific policy debate he wanted to start about surveillance. And he left the country, rather than be arrested.
"When the Obama administration was preparing to grant Manning clemency, they drew the distinction that Manning had faced trial, that Manning had expressed some degree of contrition. Snowden, of course, is totally unrepentant, feels he did the right thing. So that's a real distinction. He hasn't been tried, he's not sorry, and Manning was both."
While in prison, Manning has had to transition as a woman in a male military prison. She has tried to commit suicide twice.
Bust since her impending release was announced, Manning's outlook has gotten brighter. Last week she released a statement saying:
"For the first time, I can see a future for myself as Chelsea. I can imagine surviving and living as the person who I am and can finally be in the outside world. Freedom used to be something that I dreamed of but never allowed myself to fully imagine. Now, freedom is something that I will again experience with friends and loved ones after nearly seven years of bars and cement, of periods of solitary confinement, and of my health care and autonomy restricted, including through routinely forced haircuts. I am forever grateful to the people who kept me alive, President Obama, my legal team and countless supporters.
"I watched the world change from inside prison walls and through the letters that I have received from veterans, trans young people, parents, politicians and artists. My spirits were lifted in dark times, reading of their support, sharing in their triumphs, and helping them through challenges of their own. I hope to take the lessons that I have learned, the love that I have been given, and the hope that I have to work toward making life better for others."

YouTube Celebrity Video Tape The Moment He Was Kicked Out Of A Plane For speaking Arabic

DELTA AIR LINES found itself at the centre of a social-media storm when Adam Saleh, a YouTube personality who posts about life as a Muslim American, was removed from one of its flights for—apparently—no greater crime than speaking Arabic. Mr Saleh is not the first passenger of Middle Eastern descent to allege discriminatory treatment by airline staff and passengers. But, true to his profession, he may be the first to have recorded an encounter in real time (see link). At the time of writing, nine hours after disembarkation, his video had been retweeted an incredible 556,000 times on Twitter. see video below

According to Mr Saleh, who has 2.2m followers on YouTube, the incident began when he telephoned his Arabic-speaking mother while waiting to depart from London for New York. At this point, he claims, a female passenger told him to speak in English—kicking off an angry exchange between him, the woman and her husband. At some point between that encounter and the beginning of the video, more than 20 passengers reported feeling uncomfortable about Mr Saleh’s behaviour. He was subsequently removed from the flight.

“We spoke a different language on the plane, and now we’re getting kicked out,” the YouTube star says in the recording, which begins as he is being escorted down the aisle. “This is 2016…you guys are racist. I cannot believe my eyes.” At least one fellow passenger speaks out in Mr Saleh’s defence, while several others appear to jeer at him by waving and exclaiming “Bye!” The celebrity asserted in subsequent tweets that he was questioned by police before being allowed to board a different flight to New York.

Amid the understandable outrage being expressed on social media, it behooves a calm-head to highlight what we do not yet know about the incident. While Mr Saleh appears composed in the recording, we do not know how he conducted himself in the initial exchange with the female passenger. He may have acted aggressively or threateningly, in which case those calling for his ejection may have been motivated by concerns about their safety. Similarly, we have only his word to go on when asserting that it was an Arabic-language conversation that caused the disagreement.

What we do know is that several passengers, for whatever reason, appear visibly shaken in the recording. We know that Mr Saleh has made a career out of orchestrating and filming self-professed “social experiments”, such as this one from August, in which he appears to conclude that non-Muslims are less honest than Muslims. And we know that, since his experience on Delta, he has received worldwide publicity and substantially grown his online following.

Whatever transpired, there is little doubt that allegations of discrimination by Arab airline passengers are becoming more frequent. Gulliver reported on two such incidents in late 2015 and early 2016, concluding on both occasions that the Muslim passengers involved had been unfairly treated. Unfortunately, these were not the only ones. A Wikipedia page, Flying while Muslim, has a more extensive list. It paints a picture of an intolerant industry that stereotypes all Muslims as potential terrorists. That should alarm everyone who values living in a free and open society.

Mr Saleh has demonstrated a masterful ability to raise public awareness about this issue, whipping up frenzy on social media with his emotive and disturbing video. His allegation deserves a full investigation, which Delta has pledged to conduct. Beyond that, though, Gulliver is unwilling to pass judgment. A YouTube celebrity with a penchant for politicising religion and carrying out pranks may not be the best spokesperson for this cause.

The Protection of Donald Trump and His Family is Gulping $1 Million Daily From New York City.

Protecting Donald Trump and his family members costs New York City more than $1 million every day, city officials said.

The expenses come as city police have been assigned to Trump, his adult children and his grandchildren, who all live in New York and can receive Secret Service protection, NYPD deputy commissioner of intelligence and counterterrorism John Miller told WCBS on Monday.
The steep costs are not expected to dip very much once Trump is inaugurated because his wife, Melania Trump, and their 10-year-old son, Barron, are not moving to the White House, at least until Barron is done with school, CNN Money reported. Trump has also said he plans to frequently return to New York.
NYPD officers are protecting Trump and his family through security posts around Trump Tower and by assisting Secret Service at screening checkpoints.
“This is a very substantial undertaking. It will take substantial resources,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters on Friday. “We will begin the conversation with federal government shortly on reimbursement for the NYPD for some of the costs that we are incurring.”

Important Facts To Know About Donald Trump's National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn announced on Friday that he had accepted the position of national security adviser, formally known as the assistant to the President for national security affairs (APNSA). The role does not require a Senate confirmation.

President-elect Donald Trump relied heavily on Flynn, a three-star general with 33 years of experience in the military, during his campaign, and had considered Flynn for the running mate job before selecting Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana. Flynn, 57, remained extremely loyal to Trump and has been rewarded for it. Along with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Flynn was present on Thursday when Trump met with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan.
As national security adviser, Flynn will offer daily national security briefings to the president, among other duties. Here's what you need to know about Flynn:

1. He is a registered Democrat.

Raised in Rhode Island, Flynn comes from "an Irish Catholic family of blue-collar Democrats," according to Politico, and was a lifelong Democrat before throwing his support behind the Republican candidate. "I grew up as a Democrat in a very strong Democratic family, he told ABC, "but I will tell you that Democratic party that exists in this country is not the Democratic party that I grew up around in my upbringing."

2. He had an impressive military career.

Flynn joined the Army in 1981. He served in Afghanistan and Iraq as the director of intelligence for Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), which includes unites like SEAL Team 6. He was then the director of intelligence for the United States Central Command and the director of intelligence for the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan, helping to dismantle al-Qaeda networks. President Barack Obama nominated him to be the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency — the CIA of the Pentagon — in 2012.

3. He was ousted from his role as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014.

Flynn was forced to resign after two years in his post, pushed out by the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and the director of national intelligence.
He wrote in the New York Post that he had been trying to "change the culture of DIA." Flynn added, "After being fired, I left the meeting thinking, 'Here we are in the middle of a war, I had a significant amount of combat experience (nearly five years) against this determined enemy on the battlefield and served at senior levels, and here it was, the bureaucracy was letting me go.' Amazing."
Meanwhile, leaked emails revealed that former Secretary of State Colin Powell had asked why the now "right-wing nutty" Flynn was fired. "Abusive with staff, didn't listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc." Powell wrote.
Shortly after leaving the DIA, Flynn became a vocal critic of Obama. This was looked upon with disapproval by former colleagues. According to Vox, there is a direct connection between his "enmity towards Obama and Clinton" and "his abrupt dismissal from the DIA." He told Foreign Policy, "I'm not going to be a general that just fades away."

4. After getting fired, he started a consulting firm called Flynn Intel Group, which is now the source of numerous conflicts of interest.

Flynn started getting classified national security briefings over the summer while he was still consulting international clients on intelligence matters, according to Yahoo News. Flynn Intel Group also appears to be lobbying for the Turkish government, and has reportedly been paid thousands of dollars for it. Flynn is also an ally of Palantir, the data analysis company co-founded by Peter Thiel, the Republican billionaire who took down Gawker and gave $1.25 million to the Trump campaign.
In a letter addressed to Vice President-elect Pence, Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, who sits on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote, "Lt. Gen. Flynn's involvement in advising Mr. Trump on matters relating to Turkey or Russia — including attending classified briefings on those matters — could violate the Trump for America, Inc. Code of Ethical Conduct ..." which promises that individuals working with Trump will "disqualify" themselves should there be any conflicts of interest.

5. Early in the race, he advised five Republican presidential candidates before siding with Trump.

Flynn said that he had spoken to Carly Fiorina, Scott Walker, Ben Carson Ted Cruz, and Trump but was ultimately most impressed with Trump, someone who, like himself, he sees as an outsider who speaks bluntly. "This is a guy that provides a different vision, a different way to solve problems, a different leadership style, and a sense of change that I believe that a majority of people in this country are really starting to look at," he told CNN.
After the election, Flynn was ecstatic. "We just went through a revolution," he said. "This is probably the biggest election in our nation's history, since bringing on George Washington when he decided not to be a king."

6. He encouraged a "lock her up" chant while speaking at the Republican National Convention.

Like Trump, Flynn has been highly critical of Hillary Clinton's emails. "I have called on Hillary Clinton to drop out of the race because she — she — put our nation's security at extremely high risk with her careless use of a private email server," he said. "Lock her up. Lock her up! Damn right. Exactly right. There's nothing wrong with that!"
On two separate occasions, the FBI concluded that Clinton should not face criminal prosecution for her use of her private email server, but Trump has not conclusively said that he would drop the possibility of prosecuting Clinton. The Democratic lawyer Richard Ben-Veniste told the New York Times that such action "would be mimicking the tin-pot dictators of historical disgrace who seek to punish those who have run against them."

7. Military officials condemn Flynn's partisanship.

Adm. Michael Mullen, a former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Washington Post in a statement that Flynn's behavior in the election broke code (Mullen was equally critical of Clinton supporter retired Marine Corps General John Allen). "For retired senior officers to take leading and vocal roles as clearly partisan figures is a violation of the ethos and professionalism of apolitical military service." Two retired officers told Vox that they found Flynn to be "unhinged."

8. He has made numerous Islamophobic statements.

In an interview with Al Jazeera in May, Flynn did not denounce Trump's Muslim ban, but he did say that "There must be more precision in the use of the language that he uses as the potential leader of the free world."
For his part, Flynn has broadly painted Islam as "a cancer" and has said that "Islam is a political ideology masked behind a religion," shoehorning the world's 1.6 billion Muslims together in language that The Intercept described as showing a "lack of precision," the very critique Flynn had of Trump.
Flynn strongly believes that "radical Islamic terrorism" is the single biggest threat to Americans. He is the co-author of a book called The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its AlliesIn another Al Jazeera interview, Flynn said, "I've been at war with Islam, or a, or a component of Islam, for the last decade." He tweeted in February that "fear of Muslims is RATIONAL" and though the tweet has been repeatedly criticized, Flynn has not backtracked or taken it down.

Fear of Muslims is RATIONAL: please forward this to others: the truth fears no questions... http://youtu.be/tJnW8HRHLLw

9. He hates "political correctness."

"Political correctness kills. It will cause death, and we can’t have that," he said on Fox & Friends in September. Flynn has also said, "My God, war is not about bathrooms. War is not about political correctness or words that are meaningless. War is about winning."

10. His position on torture is just shy of an endorsement.

Flynn was once against waterboarding, but has softened his stance since aligning with Trump, who has said that he would allow waterboarding and that "torture works, OK, folks?" Flynn claims that as an intelligence officer in Iraq, he helped end abusive interrogation practices. "We were going by the book," he told The Intercept.
But instead of renouncing the use of torture or the committing of war crimes, Flynn said this about Trump's statements: "Here's what a guy like Donald Trump is doing: He's basically saying, 'Hey, look, all options are on the table,' and being very unpredictable in the face of a very determined enemy." Human Rights Watch says that Flynn shows "a stunning contempt for the Geneva Conventions and other laws prohibiting torture."

11. He appears to be cozy with Russia and Vladimir Putin.

"Russia presents the greatest threat to our national security," the Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, Jr. said in July during his confirmation to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In an interview with NPR, Flynn seemed to agree, saying that enemies of the United States included, "certainly, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, countries like Cuba, certainly China."
Yet Flynn traveled to Moscow on a paid trip in 2015, appearing on RT, Russia's state-run news organization. He likened RT to CNN. "It was a paid speaking opportunity," Flynn told the Washington Post. "I get paid so much." Flynn was seated very close to Putin at a gala, and called the symbolism of it "boring," saying that he "didn't have any problem" with the optics. According to Politico in May, Flynn had continued to make "semi-regular appearances on RT as an analyst."

12. He used to be pro-choice but flip-flopped immediately after his views were criticized by conservatives.

Flynn said on ABC that "Abortion, I think for women, these are difficult issues. I think that's a difficult legal decision, and I think that women are so important in that decision-making process. They are the ones that have to make the decision because they are the ones that will decide to bring up that child or not."
He later "clarified" to Fox News that he was a "pro-life Democrat" and that "I believe the law should be changed."

13. He had to apologize for a sexist dress code presentation that went out to employees while he was at the DIA.

In January 2013, DIA employees were provided a presentation on dress code (obtained by MuckRock through a Freedom of Information request). Male and female employees were advised on how to "look sharp, feel sharp, be sharp" in their professional appearance. But there was a sexist bent to the section for women. "Do not advocate the 'Plain Jane' look," the presentation said. "Makeup helps women look more attractive." It also said that women should "consider your body type" when choosing clothing, and "accentuate the positive/disguise the negative."

Flynn later apologized in an email to his staff. "I've now seen [the presentation] and I too find it highly offensive," he said. He listed what it really takes to be successful (makeup was not on there) and said that "Neither the agency nor I condone this briefing and I only hope the intention to execute this task was pure of heart and intended to help ... but even smart people do dumb things sometimes."

14. Flynn and his son have been accused of being racist, sexist conspiracy theorists who love fake news.

CNN reported on Thursday that Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, has a tendency to post bogus news stories and bigoted statements on social media. The younger Flynn works for Flynn Intel Group and is his father's chief of staff, according to CNN.
"Unfortunately, only reason minorities voted for BO is the color of his skin and NOT for the issues," he wrote in a tweet during the 2012 election. He reportedly deleted the post after CNN asked him to comment, but the news outlet captured the tweet in a screenshot before it got taken down.

CNN also pointed out that the younger Flynn wrote on Facebook in early November that Gloria Allred was a "commie" trying to "get the heat off the witch."
Son and father seemingly have this quality in common. While at the DIA, Flynn was "so prone to dubious pronouncements," according to the Washington Post, that these statements had a name: "Flynn facts." Business Insider reported that Lt. Gen. Flynn has promoted conspiracies that Hillary Clinton was involved in "sex crimes with children" and "money laundering." He also suggested that Hillary Clinton had conspired with Jews in an anti-Semitic tweet (he retweeted the statement "Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore") that he later deleted and apologized for.

15. FLYNN TOLD WOMEN IN HIS OFFICE TO WEAR MAKEUP, HEELS, AND SKIRTS.

Women in the Defense Intelligence Agency were told to monitor their levels of makeup, avoid flats, and err on the side of skirts and dresses when the organization was run by Flynn. Yes, that happened.
