Bill Hader Celebrates St. Patty’s Day in Cut for Time SNL Sketch

In the grand tradition of Kristen Wiig giving thanks for Thanksgiving, Michael Keaton discovering Easter candy and Edward Norton scaring up some Halloween treats, Bill Hader sits back with a warm cup of rancid milk in the latest installment of Saturday Night Live’s “articulate oddball reviews holiday customs” sketch series. Like Wiig’s edition, Hader’s sketch was cut for time, but it’s here now to leave you with the question we all ask ourselves every year on March 17: is the Lucky Charms Leprechaun secretly Buffalo Bill, or do they just have the same catchphrase? Happy Day Two Days After St. Patricks’s Day, everybody. Happy Two Days After St. Patrick’s Day, Kathy Ireland.

'SNL's' Pete Davidson Shows Off Hillary Clinton Tattoo

The 2016 Democratic presidential candidate said she was "honored," joking, "This makes it significantly less awkward that I've had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years."

Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson posted a photo on Instagram Friday indicating that he got a tattoo of former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Accompanying the picture of the ink, Davidson said the "tattoo of [his] hero" was meant to be a Christmas gift for Clinton.
"Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe," he added. The picture is the only photo on his verified Instagram account.
Clinton herself later commented on the post, in which Davidson tagged the former secretary of state.
"Thanks," she wrote. "This makes it significantly less awkward that I've had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years. But seriously, I'm honored. Merry Christmas, my friend."
Tattoo artist Jon Mesa, who Davidson credited for the ink, told UsWeekly that it's legit.
"Yes, its real! Just did it last night at my shop No Idols Tattoo on Bowery and Grand! It’s a small one on his right leg," Mesa told the outlet.
Following the 2016 election, Davidson made an appearance on SNL's "Weekend Update" in which he lamented Trump becoming president and how his home borough of Staten Island had voted for the Republican candidate.
"Donald Trump being president is something I used to say when I was high and laugh at how crazy it is and I'm high right now and it is not funny," Davidson said, later suggesting that suggesting people upset about the election take it out on their Trump-supporting relatives. "I know a lot of you are upset and scared and sad, myself included, and to everyone feeling that way, I think it's important to hold on to that outrage, hold on to your anger and frustration and let it build and build so you can release it at the exact right moment: Thanksgiving."
The comedian revealed in March that he'd quit doing drugs and gotten sober.
And in September he opened up about how he's been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and said he was slowly getting better.
He later poked fun at his health issues during another appearance on "Weekend Update" this fall, in which he joked that having more of his sketches might improve his symptoms.
"If you are in the cast of a late-night comedy show, it might help if they, you know, do more of your sketches," Davidson said.
When "Update" co-anchor Colin Jost asked, "Are you saying that you are depressed, because you are not getting enough airtime?" Davidson replied, "No. I was born depressed. But it might make me feel better if I was on TV more."

Sasheer Zamata is Leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’ With A Couple Of Others

Sasheer Zamata is leaving Saturday Night Live and will not return for the new season, multiple outlets reported on Sunday, May 21.

The 31-year-old comedian, who joined the cast of SNL during its 38th season in 2014, performed in her last show on Saturday, May 20 — the season 42 finale — according to Entertainment Tonight.

She leaves the show alongside Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer, who previously announced their departures.

Zamata joined the NBC comedy show at a time when the series was being criticized for its lack of diversity. She became known for her impersonations of Michelle Obama, Beyoncé and Rihanna. The Most Memorable SNL Hosts

While the comedian has not confirmed her departure and NBC is not commenting, Zamata posted a photo on Instagram on Sunday morning that showed her being lifted up by “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost and guest host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

“Wow. What a fantastic end to a fantastic season,” she captioned the pic. “Thanks SNL.”

Moynihan, 40, who was known for his impressions of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz and Guy Fieri, as well as the Drunk Uncle character, announced earlier this week that he was leaving SNL after nine years. His comedy pilot, Me, Myself & I, was recently given the series greenlight by CBS.

Bayer, 35, confirmed she was leaving SNL on Saturday, hours before the season finale aired.

She shared a post on Instagram on Saturday that featured lyrics written by Jost about her characters on the show, including Miley Cyrus, Jacob the Bar Mitzvah Boy, and Rachel Green from Friends.

“Thank you SNL for 7 years of laughs, love and incredible memories,” she captioned the pic. “It has been a dream come true. And thanks for this goodbye sketch at the table, Colin.”

Kyle Mooney and Leslie Jones Relationship is Being Tested on 'SNL'

Leslie Jones didn't just steal Kyle Mooney's virginity; she also stole his heart.

When we last saw the Saturday Night Live couple it was early days for their relationship. There was some minor jealousy over Leslie's close relationship with fellow cast member Colin Jost, but we were led to believe that the Jones/Mooney coupling would persevere.

It's now six months later. Somehow, Leslie and Kyle have a school-aged kid named Lorne. Their relationship is still going, but there are issues. Leslie is busy while Kyle... isn't. She's also still alarmingly close to Colin. Can the pair survive these trials?

Scarlett Johansson Perfecting Ivanka Trump Impression on SNL

If you could bottle up the essence of Ivanka Trump, what would it smell like? Vanilla wafers and toxic capitalism, maybe? Well, Saturday Night Live knows exactly what an Ivanka fragrance would be called: 'Complicit.'

Scarlett Johansson put on a sparkly gold dress to play Ivanka in an ad for her new fragrance, which is for "the woman who could stop all this, but won't."

"She's a woman who knows what she wants and knows what she's doing," the voice-over says. "A feminist, an advocate, a champion for women, but like, how?"

Kristen Stewart Talks About Her SNL 'so gay' moment

On Feb. 4, Kristen Stewart arrived at Saturday Night Live for rehearsal. It did not exactly go well. “I couldn’t get out one line,” Stewart, who was hosting for the first time, says. “I was embarrassed. I was so nervous. Just being on stage with the whole crew — and that cast is epic — and everyone was killing it immediately. I felt like they were all thinking: This poor girl is going to crash and burn.”

But when the show went live that night, it was a confident Stewart who strode onstage. In under five minutes, she poked fun at her nerves, her image, and reminded the world of the bizarre fact that the current president of the United States used to obsessively tweet about her love life and then-boyfriend and Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson.

“Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re probably really not going to like me now,” she said with a sly smile. “Because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.” The audience roared its approval, Twitter melted down, and Stewart went on to deliver one of the show’s best episodes this year.

“Oh, it was so fun,” Stewart says a few weeks later, stretched out on a sun-dappled balcony in Los Angeles. “If they would have me, I’d go back every year.”

She seems amused by the buzz her “coming out” announcement garnered. “I’ve been talking about it for a really long time! I’ve lived pretty openly.” Indeed, she’s been romantically linked to several women, including singer Annie Clark (a.k.a. St. Vincent) and most recently model Stella Maxwell. Her declaration shouldn’t have been a big deal, and yet … “I guess because it was simple and straightforward. Just — ‘I’m so gay, dude.'” She pauses, and smiles. “In that moment, to make it normal and cool and completely unashamed? It felt really cool.

How Much Alec Baldwin Gets Paid To Act Like Donald Trump On SNL Revealed

Alec Baldwin has revealed how much he gets paid for his iconic Donald Trump impersonation on Saturday Night Live.đź’ś
The 58-year-old actor told The New York Times that SNL shells out $1,400 every time he appears on the comedy show as the controversial president-elect.

Not only has his hilarious and accurate SNL impersonation become popular among Trump’s critics in the public, Baldwin has also drawn a reaction from the man himself.
According to Donald Trump, who isn’t one to mince insults, SNL is “totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse.” Baldwin took it in stride.
“Release your tax returns and I’ll stop,” he tweeted back.
Alec has found the key to a spot-on impersonation every time.
“I see a guy who seems to pause and dig for the more precise and better language he wants to use, and never finds it. It’s the same dish — it’s a grilled-cheese sandwich rhetorically over and over again,” Baldwin told The Hollywood Reporter.
Many did point out that his impersonation may have humanized Trump enough to help him win the election, and Baldwin does recognize that. However, he thinks that now is also the time to turn it up a notch.
“I think that now that he is the president, we have an obligation — as we would if it was him or her — to dial it up as much as we can,” he said.
Baldwin does plan to continue his Trump impersonation, although they’ll be more sporadic now that he has two upcoming films.

Alec Baldwin Promise To Stop 'Unwatchable' SNL If Trump Can Release His Taxes Return

Actor Alec Baldwin responded to a late-night tweet by President-elect Donald Trump that criticized the player's latest performance on Saturday Night Live, asking that the New York businessman release his tax returns if he wanted some comic relief.

This week, Baldwin-as-Trump repeatedly interrupted his latest national security briefing by announcing each time he retweeted a random citizen, apparently basing the act off real retweets Trump made while on the campaign trail.
'Aides' played by Kenan Thompson and Alex Moffat were seen attempting to focus the 'president-elect' on foreign intelligence, while Kate McKinnon's 'Kellyanne Conway' sat beside 'Trump', visibly and verbally exasperated at each interruption.
A short time after the skit ended, the real Trump slammed Baldwin's act as "unwatchable":
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Baldwin later responded on his foundation's Twitter feed, demanding his fellow New Yorker release his tax returns if he wanted to see the actor take off his blond wig and makeup for good.

The New York Daily News reported that one of the voters Trump (and Baldwin) had retweeted recognized his message during the show and agreed with the president-elect that Baldwin's skit was indeed "unfunny".

Just saw the intro that @nbcsnl mentioned me in - totally unfunny, and biased -- Sad! The @AlecBaldwin impersonation is incredibly stale.

Trump has not yet responded to Baldwin's offer.

Alec Baldwin Refuses To Back Down From Trump's SNL Backlash

Instant reaction! Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday, December 4, that Alec Baldwin’s Saturday Night Live impersonation of him was terrible — less than 15 minutes after the show ended.

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable!” the 70-year-old President-elect tweeted. “Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.”
Baldwin, 58, wasn’t about to let Trump have the last word, however, and responded shortly afterward with his own clap back. “… @realDonaldTrump Release your tax returns and I’ll stop. Ha,” he wrote.

On the Saturday, December 3, episode of the sketch comedy show, the actor once again reprised his much-lauded impersonation of the real estate mogul in the show’s cold open. In it, he and adviser Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) are seated at a desk in Trump Tower, where two suits are trying to brief Trump on Syria.
The President-elect, however, keeps getting distracted by his phone, retweeting random people from all over the country, including Seth, a 16-year-old high school student.
“I just retweeted the best tweet,” he told McKinnon-as-Conway. “I mean, wow, what a great, smart tweet. This could not wait. It was from a young man named Seth. He’s 16. He’s in high school. And I really did retweet him. Seriously. This is real.”

McKinnon’s Conway tries to explain Trump’s constant tweeting, but her efforts fall flat.
“You see, there is a reason actually that Donald tweets so much,” she says. “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the scary people in his cabinet.”
“Actually, that’s not why I do it,” Baldwin’s Trump responds. “I do it because my brain is bad.”
Then, each time Baldwin-as-Trump tries to refocus on the task at hand, he gets sidetracked by yet another tweet that he feels the urge to retweet. At one point, he tells McKinnon’s Conway that he really will bunker down so that he can “build that swamp.”
“Don’t you mean drain the swamp and build the wall?” McKinnon’s Conway asks, startled. “No, that’s too many things. Just smoosh them together,” Baldwin’s Trump replies.
