Justin Timberlake Will Be Performing at 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Justin Timberlake will perform at the 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 4 in Minneapolis. He made the announcement with help from friend Jimmy Fallon. Watch below. He returns to the show 14 years after his last performance at the Super Bowl when he famously bared Janet Jackson’s right breast in what was called a “wardrobe malfunction.” 

The incident caused an FCC crackdown on objectionable broadcast material, the raising of fines per indecency violation, and performances in ensuing years from older rock artists like Paul McCartney, the Who, the Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty. Recent years have featured the return of younger pop artists: Lady Gaga performed last year, and Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Coldplayhelmed the show in 2016.






Timberlake’s last album The 20/20 Experience was released in 2013. Last year, he had a hit with “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick are two of the coolest humans on the planet—which makes their epic fail at the Trolls premiere in London even more adorably awkward.

The two stars were supposed to light the iconic London Eye up in rainbow colors in honor of their new animated feature—"supposed to" being the key phrase. According to The Huffington Post, things did not go according to plan.

The setup was great; they had a big red button and everything. Timberlake and Kendrick took their places, did the obligatory countdown, and got the crowd excited.

The first trailer for Justin Timberlake's concert movie is here to rock your body. Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids — that's JT's band, for the uninitiated — brings the final Vegas date of his "20/20 Experience" world tour right into your living room, and is billed as "a culmination of the singer’s 134 shows and 2 years on the road." 

It's directed by Hollywood legend Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs), so you can expect some ravishing cinematography to go along with JT's moves. 

Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids hits Netflix on Oct. 12. 

Justin Timberlake Promise To Do A Collabo With Britney Spears

In August, Britney Spears revealed in a fan Q&A that Justin Timberlake was one of her "dream collaborators," along with Aerosmith and Gwen Stefani.






Britney's exact words were, "Justin Timberlake is very good." Now, it seems like the feeling's mutual, with Justin telling E!this week that he'd "absolutely" be up for a collab. JT also apologized for "not being in the know" about Britney naming him: "I have a 17 month old, so I don't get the headline news." Quick, someone give him an update on the latest polls, who won Miss America, and just how incredible the new Fifty Shades Darker trailer is.

While it's easy for many fans to squeal with delight, let's not forget just how awkward it would be for these two to collaborate. The world will never, ever forget "Cry Me a River" and the video's Britney look-alike. Or, for something as fresh as clean laundry, recall Justin's interview with Vanity Fair Italia from August. When asked whether or not an artist has to be depressed or tormented to write songs fans can connect to, Justin said [via Google Translate], "It depends. In the past, suffering helped me to compose. 'Cry Me a River' was written in a moment of pain, as the whole world knew."

There's also this moment the internet is going nuts for: During an interview with Anna Kendrick for their new film Trolls, the reporter says the word "Pinky" around the 2:10 mark. Justin's facial expression changes immediately, leading many to believe it's an actual reaction to his nickname for Britney when they were dating (she called him "Stinky," as many of you know).
